This is a superb, high quality fluorocarbon.  Fluorocarbon offers a massive advantage when fishing in clear water as it is almost invisible when submerged.  Fluorocarbon tends to be stiffer than monofilament (nylon) which is particularly useful when fishing droppers (the fluorocarbon is less likely to tangle around the rest of your leader).  Fluorocarbon also sinks - whereas monofilament (nylon) needs treating to let it break the surface.  Fluorocarbon also has less stretch than monofilament (nylon) so every knock, bump and take are easily felt.  All in all the best allround leader and tippet material for any sunk fly work.
