Our feathers are from genuine UK stock so there is always limited availability. Most feathers on e-bay and other sources are from illicit or illegal sources as this is a CITES listed species and the import/export of them are strictly controlled. Help conserve the natural wild stocks of this beautiful bird by only buying UK bred birds rather than one slaughtered illegally in the wild. Please note because of the legislation covering this product it can only be sold with an Article 10 certificate and this needs to be applied for and completed before the sale will be finalised. Current cost for us to complete this certificate is an additional £150 (this includes the cost of the permit and our cost for completing the paperwork). With regards to exporting this item can be relatively easily sent within the UK or to other EC countries with an Article 10 certificate . However to send this item outside the EU please be aware that there is often further complex paperwork to complete and there are further charges for this so please e-mail us first to discuss your requirements.
