Fantastic thread from UTC. 140 Denier.  Strong, smooth, flat lightly waxed with slow building nylon thread.   Thread is multifilament so it can be split to create split dubbing ropes.  Can be twisted to create circular cross section thread or unspun to create a flat thread for even bodies or smooth heads.  We use this thread extensively in our own flies.
